UGC NET December Admit Card 2018- Official Date Announced

NTA will release the admit card for UGC NET December 2018 session on their official website at www.nta.ac.in. The admit cards will release officially on 19th November 2018 for the UGC NET December 2018 exam. For downloading the admit card, aspirants need to stay ready with their application number, password and a security pin. The admit cards will not be sent via post; therefore, aspirants need to download and print it as soon as it releases.

About UGC NET Exam

University Grant Commission- National Eligibility Test is a national level exam conducted every year to select candidates for the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) under reputed colleges/institutes of India. The exam was earlier conducted by CBSE but from December 2018 it will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in an online mode.

Steps to Download the UGC NET December Admit Card 2018

The aspirants can view their admit card in 3 simple steps. First by logging in, second by checking the details and third by downloading and printing the admit card.

Step 1 – Log In

Since NTA would be conducting the exam, you need to first visit the official website of NTA at www.nta.ac.in and look for the notification section. In the notification section, look for the link of “UGC NET Dec 2018 Admit Card” and open it. Once opened, in a login setup, enter all the required details- roll number, password, DOB and submit. Once submitted, you will have the access to the account.

Step 2 – Checking the Details On Admit Card

After logging in, open the admit card and look for the following details:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Roll number
  • Father and mother’s name
  • E-mail Id
  • Subjects Name
  • Exam date and time
  • Exam Venue Details
  • Passport size photograph and authenticated signature (paste the recent passport size photo in the allotted space)
  • Important end moment instructions for the examination Day

Step 3 – Download and Print the Admit Card

UGC NET December Admit Card 2018 – Important Documents to Carry Along

Along with the admit card, aspirants need to carry a separate proof of identity with them to the examination venue. You can carry any one of the following proof:

  • Adhaar Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN card
  • Voter ID card
  • School/College id
  • Any other valid proof with authentic details
  • 2-3 passport size photographs

Note – It is important to carry at least one proof from above in original to the examination venue.

UGC NET December 2018 Admit Card – Notable Instructions

  • Admit Card should be printed in good quality or clear print and ensure to paste the current photograph on it.
  • Extra paper and pen for rough work will be given at the test centre.
  • Do not mark or write anything on the admit card.
