How to Fill CTET 2019 Exam Application Form?

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. CTET is basically conducted for evaluating the eligibility of candidates having a degree or diploma in Education, for teaching jobs in schools and institutions that are under the administrative control of Centre-State or Union Territories. The examination includes jobs of Primary and Elementary teaching level. The selection of the candidate is done strictly on the merit basis and the certificate of eligibility issued is considered valid for 7 years from the date of result declaration. For the 2019 session, CTET exam is going to be conducted on 7th July 2019. The online CTET 2019 application form is available on the official website of CTET from 5th February 2019. While the last date to submit the application form is 5th March 2019 and the last date for submission of fee is 8th March 2019 (before 3.30 PM). 

In order to apply for the CTET 2019 exam, candidates will need to fill and submit an application form by registering on the official website of CTET 2019. To know about the CTET application form, go through the information provided below.

Things to Consider When Candidate Applying for CTET 2019 Exam

  1. Make sure to go through the Information Bulletin thoroughly and make arrangements for required documents.
  2. Make sure to meet the eligibility criteria required to appear in the examination.
  3. Candidate will need to submit the online application by providing complete details by visiting the official website of CTET @ ctet.nic.in,
  4. Make sure to enter complete mailing address along with Postal Pin Code at the time of applying.
  5. When submitting the CTET 2019 application form, decide the fee payment mode.
  6. Make sure to keep the Confirmation Page downloaded and printed for future reference. In case of fee payment through E-Challan, make sure to keep a copy of it as well.
  7. In case a candidate submits more than one application for CTET exam, his/her candidature shall be considered cancelled and the candidate may also be blocked to appear for future examinations.
  8. Make sure to provide your own mobile number and email address when submitting the online application.

Steps to Submit Online CTET Application Form

  1. Go to the official website of CTET @ ctet.nic.in.
  2. Once you are on the official website, click on the “Fill Online Application Form for CTET July 2019” link located at the bottom section of the page. You will be directed to the next page.
  3. On the next screen, you will need to click on the APPLY button located under the NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION You will be taken to the next page where you will need to thoroughly go through the information given there.
  4. Next, select the checkbox next to “I have downloaded Information Bulletin, read and understood all the instructions” option and click on the “Click here to Proceed” button
  5. On the next page, a Registration Form will appear that you will have to fill completely and click on the SUBMIT A pop up will appear on the screen asking you to review the information entered by you.
  6. If you have thoroughly reviewed the information entered by you, select the checkboxes under “Parameters checklist to be verified” section and then the one next to I Agree option under Declaration After that click on the FINAL SUBMIT button and confirm your action in the box that appears on your screen by clicking YES button. Your Application registration number will be generated. You will need to use this Application number and password you chose to further complete the application form submission process.
  7. Now go to the homepage of CTET and click again on the “Fill Online Application Form for CTET July 2019” and enter the Application Number, Password, and Security Pin on the next page under “ONLY REGISTERED CANDIDATES SIGN IN” section.
  8. Once you are logged in, click on the Complete Application Form Fill up the form with the required information on the next page and click on the Submit button and then Yes button in the confirmation box. After that, select the check boxes under “Parameters checklist to be verified” section and then the one next to I Agree option under Declaration section. After that click Final Submit button and confirm your action.
  9. Then, you will need to upload Scanned Images of your latest Photograph and Signature. After that, you will need to make the fee payment by e-challan or debit/credit card.
  10. Finally, take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.

Steps to Submit Online CTET Application Form

  1. Go to the official website of CTET @ ctet.nic.in.
  2. Once you are on the official website, go to the “Apply Online” link and open it.
  3. Next, you will need to fill in the online application form and take note of Registration No. / Application No.
  4. Then, you will need to upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature.
  5. After that, make the fee payment by e-challan or debit/credit card.
  6. Finally, take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.

CTET 2019 Registration Tips

  1. Authentication Form: In this section, you will need to enter details such as State, Identification type (choose any identity as applicable), Candidate’s Name, Gender, and Date of Birth.
  2. Fill Online Application Form: Here, you will need to complete online Application Form and select your password. A Registration Number/Application Number will get generated after submission. Take note of Registration No./Application No., you will need to use this Registration No./Application No. and password for subsequent login.

Password Policy will be as follows:

  • Password must be 8 to 13 characters long.
  • Password must have at least one lower case, one upper case alphabet, one special character (!@#$%^&*-), and at least one numeric value.
  • The password can be changed after sign in. However, a new password cannot be identical to any of the last three passwords.

NOTE:

  • Make sure to not to share your password with anyone. Neither CTET nor NIC will be liable in case your password is misused by anyone.
  • After completing the session, you should log out so that the contents of the application cannot be misused or tampered by any unauthorized persons.
  1. Uploading Scanned Images Online
  • Uploading your scanned photo and signature are mandatory when filling the application
  • Make sure to upload the scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  • The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 KB to 100 KB.
  • The dimension of the photograph should be 3.5 CM (Width) x 4.5 CM (Height).
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 3 KB to 30 KB.
  • The dimension of the signature should be 3.5 CM (Length) x 1.5 CM (Height).

The fee details for CTET – 2018 are as follows:

NOTE: GST will be applicable as charged by the bank.

Mode of Payment:

  • Payment through E-Challan: Deposit the prescribed fee in the account of CTET exam with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank.
  • Online Mode: Payment via Debit/Credit card.
  1. Downloading Confirmation Page

After making the fee payment, you can take a printout of confirmation page for future reference. You don’t need to send it to the CTET Unit.

Additional Note:

  1. You must satisfy the eligibility before applying and ensure that all the information entered is up to date and correct.
  2. Make sure to enter details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and Date of Birth as per the 10th class certificate. It is to be noted that no changes shall be entertained under any circumstances after the specified date for online correction is over.
  3. Correction/Updation in Details: You particulars cannot be changed/edited once you would have submitted the examination fee. So, make sure to make the correction within the stipulated time period.
    You will be allowed to make changes only to the following items in the application form: Name, Father and Mother Name, Category, Date of Birth, Differently Abled Category, Paper opted (Paper 1 or 2), Subject for Paper -2, Language 1 and/or 2 opted, the First choice of centre, address of correspondence, and name of the institution/college/university from where you have obtained your B.Ed Degree/Diploma in Elementary Education etc.
  4. Once you have made the fee payment, it will not be refunded or adjusted for the future exam under any circumstance.
  5. No changes in the application form will be accepted through offline mode such as fax/application/post or email etc.
