The All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) to Undergraduate (UG) courses in Agriculture and Allied Sciences will be conducted on 1st July 2019. From this year onwards, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the exam. Earlier, it was conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). As the exam date is approaching, here is the detailed information on AIEEA UG exam pattern.

As per the official notification; “In case of any language related disparity or ambiguity English version of the question would be considered as final.”
Candidates are provided with a choice to select three subjects from what they have studied in class 12th while filling the application form. Candidates can select from the following subjects:
- Biology (Botany and Zoology)
The questions are asked from those subjects only.

NTA Test Practice Centres (TPCs)
NTA has set up Test Practice Centres (TPCs), especially in rural and remote areas to help candidates practice for the Computer Based Test (CBT). This will help them in understanding the CBT pattern. Candidates can register for the TCPs online through NTA’s official website and the nearest TCP will be allotted for practice. This facility is provided for free. As per the official notification; “All efforts will also be made to provide practice tests and questions so that candidates can familiarize themselves with logging into the system, go through the detailed instructions regarding the test, use the mouse or numeric keyboard on screen (virtual) for attempting each question, scroll down to the next question, navigate between questions, review and edit their options and submit answers.”
AIEEA UG 2019 Exam Day Instructions
Candidates must check out the following do’s and don’ts for the AIEEA UG 2019 exam:
- Carry the admit card along with one passport size photograph and one government photo ID proof to the examination centre. Candidates belonging to PwD category must also carry the PwD certificate.
- Reach the examination centre two hours before the exam commencement time for completing the registration and other formalities.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 8:30 AM.
- Read the instruction on the admit card carefully and follow them.
