JEE MAIN 2019 Results-Official Date, Expected Cut-offs, and Counselling Schedule

The JEE MAIN 2019 exam will now be conducted in 2 sessions once in the January and second in April by NTA. The results for the January session will be out on 31st January 2019 and for April session, it will be out on 30th April 2019. The JEE main (both session) results will be announced on the official website of NTA-www.nta.ac.in. In order to access the results, you need to stay ready with login details- roll number, password, and Date of Birth. In result, there will be sectional, as well as total marks for all the sections along with acquired All India Rank. In order to proceed with the advance exam, it is required to score qualifying marks mentioned in the scorecard.

Procedure to Download the JEE MAINS 2019 Scorecard/results

Checking the JEE Mains 2019 result is a 3-way process- Log in, Checking and downloading the results. Refer to the following steps to download your scorecard effectively.

Step 1 – Login

Once the result link will get active, visit the official website of NTA at www.nta.ac.in and in the notification section search for a link “JEE MAIN 2019 results” and open it. Once opened, in a login setup enter the credentials like Roll Number, DOB and password and submit. After submitting all the details, the login will be successful.

Step 2 – Checking the Details on the Result

Once you have logged in, look for the scorecard, and open it. On your scorecard, check out these following details:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Roll number
  • Date of Birth
  • Name of the parents
  • State code of eligibility
  • Category and nationality
  • Total and section wise scored marks
  • All India Rank(AIR)
  • Category Rank
  • Qualifying status for JEE Advanced 2019 exam.
  • Cut-off marks for JEE Advanced 2019 exam eligibility.

Note – Make sure the above details and information are correct and don’t have any misprint or error. If found, do complain about it to the NTA authorities.

Step 3- Downloading the Results/scorecard

Once read all the details and information on the result page/scorecard, do not forget to take the printout of the same and keep it safe until the counselling process.

Note – Ranks will not be sent via E-mail or SMS, therefore, make sure to keep it safe.

JEE MAIN 2019 Cut-Offs

The cut-offs are the qualifying marks that each and every candidate need to achieve in order to step ahead with the JEE Advanced exam. The cut-offs were released by CBSE earlier but from now on it will be the duty of NTA. Let’s check out the following schedule for the previous and expected cut-offs for the JEE MAIN 2019 exam from top-most institutes.

Note – These expected cut-off are just predictions based on the Last year’s cut-offs and other factors of the exam. Do not anticipate them as for final and wait until the actual results.

JEE Main 2019 Counselling

CSAB or Central State Allocation Board takes the charge to conduct the counselling to allot seats to the various qualified candidates. From 2019, seat allotment will be done via merit and rank list. The seat allotment process will take place in June 2019.
