NCHM JEE 2019 Result – Merit List, Cut-Off, and Counselling

The National Testing Agency will release the NCHM JEE 2019 result by 15th May 2019, as per the official schedule available at the official website. Those who secure the minimum qualifying marks in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to be conducted on 27th April 2019 will be shortlisted for admission to various courses in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The score obtained by the candidates will be uploaded at the official website and can be checked through individual log-in credentials. How to check NCHM JEE 2019 Result?

Candidates are advised to check the Joint Entrance Exam result only through the official website using the following steps:

  • Go to NTA NCHM official website –
  • Click on the ‘Result’ link on the home-page.
  • Enter your log-in details viz. Application number, date of birth, and security pin.
  • Submit the information.
  • Your result/scorecard will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a print for future reference.

Candidates must note that no scorecard will be sent to any of the candidates through the post. It can only be accessed through the official website.

Preparation of Merit List

The All India Merit list for the exam is prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the NCHM JEE computer-based test. If some candidates have equal marks in the exam, the following criteria is used for determining the merit:

  1. Candidate securing higher marks in English section shall rank higher
  2. If the marks secured in the English section are also same, then-candidate securing higher marks in Service Aptitude section shall rank higher
  3. If there is a tie in both (1) and (2), the candidate older in age shall rank higher

NCHM JEE 2019 Counselling

After the publication of merit list, candidates are required to appear for the counselling session conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The counselling process will tentatively begin from the fourth week of May and will be conducted in three rounds. Candidates need to register for the counselling process online. They can choose the institutes for admission on the basis of their rank. The document verification process will be carried at the reporting centre. NCHM JEE 2019 Cut-Off

Cut-off is the closing rank at which the admission is provided i.e. the last rank admitted to an institution. Every institute has a different cut-off for the NCHM JEE exam. Some of the factors determining cut-off are a number of candidates appeared for the exam, difficulty level of exam, previous years’ cut-off, seat availability, etc.
