UGC NET 2019 June Session Admit Card – Downloading Procedure

NTA will release the admit card for UGC NET June 2019 session at its official website – www.nta.ac.in. The admit cards will be available from 15th May 2019 onwards. For downloading the admit card, aspirants need to log-in with their application number, password and a security pin. The admit cards will not be sent via post under any circumstances; therefore, candidates must download it within the specified time.

About UGC NET Exam

University Grant Commission- National Eligibility Test is a national level exam conducted every year to select candidates for the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) at reputed colleges/institutes of India. The exam was earlier conducted by CBSE but from December 2018 onwards, it is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) through online mode.

Steps to Download the UGC NET June Admit Card 2019

Here are the detailed steps to download the UGC NET admit card for the June 2019 session.

Step 1 – Log In

Since NTA would be conducting the exam, you need to first visit the official website of NTA at www.nta.ac.in and look for the admit card download link on the home-page “UGC NET June 2019 Admit Card” and click it. Enter all the required details- roll number, password, DOB and submit. Once submitted, you will have access to your profile. Look for the admit card.

Step 2 – Checking the Details On Admit Card

After log-in, open the admit card and look for the following details:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Roll number
  • Father and mother’s name
  • E-mail Id
  • Subjects Name
  • Exam date and time
  • Exam Venue Details
  • Passport size photograph and authenticated signature (paste the recent passport size photo in the allotted space)
  • Important end moment instructions for the examination Day

Note – Read all the above information with a deep glance and ensure that the details are correctly mentioned without any misspelling.

In case of any discrepancy in the details mentioned on the Admit Card, “the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. between 15 May 2019 to 22 May 2019. In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later. ”

Step 3 – Download and Print the Admit Card

Once you have checked all the details, download the admit card and print it.

UGC NET June Admit Card 2019 – Important Documents to Carry Along

Along with the admit card, aspirants need to carry a separate proof of identity with them to the examination venue. You can carry any one of the following proof:

  • Aadhaar Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment Number
  • Driving License
  • PAN card
  • Voter ID card
  • Ration Card
  • School/College id
  • Any other valid proof with authentic details

Note – It is important to carry at least one proof from above in original to the examination venue.

Candidates are also required to carry one passport size photograph for pasting on the attendance sheet at the examination centre.

To be carried on the day of the UGC NET 2019 Exam:

●       Admit Card

●       One Photo ID Proof

●       One Passport Size Photograph

UGC NET December 2018 Admit Card – Notable Instructions

  • Admit Card should be printed in good quality paper with a clear print and ensure to paste your recent photograph at the space provided.
  • Extra paper and pen for rough work will be given at the test centre.
  • Do not mark or write anything on the admit card.
  • Do take a hard and soft copy of the admit card before leaving for the UGC NET June 2019 exam.
